Situation

A leading household cleaning brand wanted to evaluate 100’s of SKUs using the myBehaviorally platform to understand how packaging performs within this highly competitive category environment, across brands including its own and key competitors.  This information was used to fuel a design brief for a new packaging innovation.  The brief was taken into Behaviorally’s Studio B., which provided AI generated design themes to inspire packaging development for PackFlash validation.

Prediction + Design Insight

Packaging designs were evaluated using AI-driven predictions spanning visibility, shopability, persuasion, and purchase drivers. Competitive differences uncovered the tactics which led some designs to be highly effective at driving visibility, and others to be better at reinforcing characteristics such as brand trust, relevance, and differentiation.

Business Impact

These insights helped the team identify where new packaging in the category could most effectively close performance gaps versus competitors while reinforcing existing brand strengths, enabling more focused and informed design decisions.  By leveraging Studio B. to further screen category shoppers on learning from myB. and inspire design conception, final options were successfully put through PackFlash validation testing prior to marketplace launch.
