Farewell 2021 and Resolutions for 2022!

As 2021 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect and appreciate the year we’ve had as a team at Behaviorally, all the more so given we continue to find ways to make progress despite the obvious challenges of a global pandemic.

In January 2021, we birthed a new brand, both literally when we rebranded as Behaviorally and figuratively as we set out to dramatically accelerate our digital-first transformation. When we relaunched as Behaviorally, we had two offices in the United States, both in the NYC area and my favorite city of Chicago. Since then, over 12 months, we’ve expanded quickly, hiring amazingly talented staff to support clients locally from offices in London, Geneva, Singapore, and Shanghai.

We hosted a one-day masterclass virtual event on behavioral science called You Better Behave! Then, we joined forces with others in our industry to be at the forefront of bringing insights to sustainability with our We Better Behave! event. Relatedly, implementing a rigorous ESG (environmental, social, and governance) program, we live and breathe throughout our company has arguably been one of our largest accomplishments of 2021. Not only has it been the right thing to do, but we have drawn significant commercial benefits from choosing to do the right thing.

Our digital-first transformation has included the launch of Flash.AI™, which leverages AI to predict early pack design performances within as little as 120 minutes. We also introduced Flash.PDP™ in July, which utilizes visual recognition AI to optimize product images on the digital shelf.

Just as Behaviorally has been for 50 years the market leader in visual asset assessment at the physical shelf, we are beginning to mark ourselves out as the leader for visual asset assessment at the digital shelf. It’s exciting to see our business transform as both consumer behavior, and the capabilities of the wider insights and analytics industry evolves. It means we’re bringing more value than ever to our loyal clients.

But the work of transformation is never complete, so what resolutions do we have for the next year?

Well, first, we’ll continue to exploit our digital transformation to offer ever better solutions; no longer should any client of insights & analytics work have to trade-off between better, faster, and cheaper, nor should there ever be an absence of solutions built from a digital-first start-point, reflecting the speed and scale dynamics of digital commerce.

Second, we’re going to grow rapidly to better support our clients around the world, all of who have been supportive of our business in 2021. Expect to see Behaviorally in five new markets throughout 2022, beginning in Q1!

Finally, you can continue to expect to see Behaviorally do the right thing by all its stakeholders and especially our staff. It’s been a phenomenal year of growth for the first-rate Behaviorally team. By supporting and trusting each other, one of our key company values, we’ll achieve even more together in 2022 no matter the challenges, expected and unexpected, coming our way. Happy New Year!
